Iteration Review
At the end of an iteration, a team should review their progress and performance with key stakeholders.
In contrast to the teams demo which is focused on product communication and celebration, this event focuses on the qualitative and quantitative data that shows both how customers are reacting to the teams offerings as well as how the team is performing operationally.
From a customer point of view, teams will typically review the key feedback commentary gathered from customers and look at the primary success measures for the product or team output.
From an operational perspective, the team will typically review key information radiators like the burnup chart and the key metrics that represent the current agility outcomes and practices that the team is focused on.
It is very common for the demo and iteration review to be combined into a single event taking into account any confidentiality of information.
The stakeholders may provide the team valuable feedback here that they can use and hence this event often occurs just prior to the team retrospective event.
