Swarming
Swarming refers to a team behavior where multiple team members concentrate their efforts on completing a particular task or user story.
To understand swarming, you can think of it as an informal story flight crew concept. When a specific need arises, additional team members supplement an existing flight crew, or form a temporary one if it does not exist, to assist in completing the task.
Swarming can be triggered for various reasons, but it often happens when something is not progressing as planned, and the team wants to ensure that the most valuable or urgent work gets done promptly.
Another common reason for swarming is when the team has too many tasks in progress. Instead of starting a new story, team members come together to help with the tasks already in progress, ensuring they are completed efficiently.
